Die Reise geht von der popkulturellen Comic-Welt zurück in die griechische Mythologie, deren patriarchale Gewalt nicht nur Wonder Woman, sondern unserer gesamten abendländischen Kultur zugrunde liegt. Eine ganz persönliche Geschichte wird zum Auslöser für universelle, gesellschaftlich relevante Themen – augenzwinkernd und todernst.

Half documentary, half fiction, a performance with truths and lies. "Emotions of Normal People" is a piece of mockumentary-theater about the identity crisis regarding gender and sex – and about feelings that we all know and share. The journey spans from the pop cultural world of comics to Greek mythology and its patriarchal violence, which has formed the basis of not only Wonder Woman but also the entirety of our Western culture. Cheeky and dead serious, the performance tells a highly personal story that becomes the springboard for universal themes relevant to today’s society.
